Position Summary

Performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in the Accounting department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Compiles, processes and maintains accounts receivable records, including processing customer invoices and receipts using knowledge of revenue recognition rules. Prepares daily cash report.
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations and inter-company confirmations, as well as, routine journal entries.  Assist in month-end reporting procedures.
  • Assists credit and collections manager with customer collection efforts.
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks.
  • Complies with SOX internal audit control procedures at all times.  Assists with internal control and tax audits.
  • Accuracy in daily work and assigned projects, as well as, ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Education

Associate's degree or a minimum of 1-3 year(s) related experience and/or training.

Skills/Experience

1-3 years of experience.  Knowledge of foreign currency is preferred.

Travel

Travel is not required.
