POSITION SUMMARY

As an Assembly Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by assembling components and products with precision and efficiency. You will work in a dynamic team environment where attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to quality are essential. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and functionality

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assembly Operations: Perform assembly tasks following standardized work instructions and procedures. This includes but is not limited to fitting parts together, fastening, testing, and inspecting components to ensure they meet specifications.

Quality Control: Conduct quality checks during assembly to identify defects or deviations from product requirements. Report any issues promptly and assist in troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise.

Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and participate in safety training programs.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean assembly tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to supervisors promptly.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members, including engineers, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel, to achieve production goals and resolve issues effectively. Contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives.

Efficiency and Productivity: Strive to meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency without compromising quality.


What you need to succeed:

  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs. Team Player: Positive attitude, good communication skills, and willingness to support colleagues
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in assembly operations is advantageous.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 70 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks with precision.
  • Occasional squatting and kneeling
