Business Systems Analyst-Hybrid

Position Summary

Terrasource Global is seeking to add a Business Systems Analyst to IT Team. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a wide range of responsibilities from end user support, to identifying areas for improvement, and implementing high quality solutions. Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team. Candidate should have a four-year degree. Candidate should have at least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related experience. This is a St. Louis MO based position. The role will be hybrid with three days in the office and two days remote at home.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Perform day-to-day support of our ERP system.
  • Identify, document, report, and track system issues.
  • Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement
  • Gather and document detailed business requirements for small to moderate level projects
  • Perform analysis and recommend ways to improve system
  • Ensure that technology is configured in a way that supports business objectives and meets user needs
  • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews for modified and new processes, and post-implementation support
  • Partner with users to identify needs and requirements
  • Build trusted user relationships through support and effective project delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments daily to maintain positive communication/interaction
  • Acts as a liaison between end users and development team
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts: employees, functional consultants, and contractors who have varying levels of expertise
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, flexible team player
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP system concepts; experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne a plus


Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university or related experience and a minimum of 4 years related experience and/or training.


Skills/Experience

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.


Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.


Reasoning Ability: Use of judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups, operations and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
